Turning 18 is... strange. But Mum and Alicia baked me a cake and sent it to me in the mail, so if anyone wants some cake, come to the common room. There is too much for me to eat all by myself.
I haven't decided if I should leave today or stay for the Yule Ball. I know I'm sort of making this decision a little too late, and I'll just end up staying, but I probably should have planned better. Alicia wants me to come home, but it is my last Yule Ball, innit? I think I should stay.

Mum called to say that it's snowing back home. I'm excited for Christmas hols to start so I can go back and visit Alicia. She asked me to show her how to fly this break, and even though mum doesn't like how adventurous Alicia is already, I still really want to teach her how to fly. I have a feeling she'll be a natural.
Does anyone know if it's supposed to snow before we leave?
